About the Event
Join us for the DISSINET II Closing / DISSINET III Opening Event, marking five years of research, collaboration, and innovation in the digital study of medieval heresy and religious dissent.
This online event will present the main achievements of the ERC-funded project “Networks of Dissent: Computational Modelling of Dissident and Inquisitorial Cultures in Medieval Europe”, highlighting key digital tools, research outputs, and methodological advances developed during the project.

- CASTEMO data collection approach and the InkVisitor application
- DISSILEX: A controlled vocabulary and valency lexicon for medieval Latin
- Overview of the DISSINET III research agenda, where we will engage computationally with conflict, offensive language, repression, and resilience in relation to medieval religious dissidence.
